Welcome to Abidjan

Our flooded road...... they say it gets higher in rainy season!
Me and Snowflake

Our house

Hey!

So my parents have been bugging me for not doing a post in such a long time, so I doing a short one now ;) Well as I said we have arrived in Abidjan! It's great, hot, sticky, and GREEN! Thats the four words that describe it... well and one more... lost. We have had a great first few weeks here... we just got started back to French this week, we are back to life ;) I will be so happy when we know it! :)

Things are much different here than in Bamako, have I mentioned it's GREEN??? Haha... I think I have, but it is no understatement.... we have grass that has to be mowed! :) Also it rains here year round.... well not as much in dry season (which is right now and its been raining alot ;) But when it rain our road floods.... as you can see above!

We really enjoy it here in Abidjan... continue to pray for French (it's a huge task!) and for me to find friends.

Miss you all,
Autumn

Hey autumn! thanks for the pictures and the update! Snowflake is cute! When I was in bible college, years ago in the 70's, my room-mate was from the Ivory Coast and spoke French! I bet it is hard but it is sure a beautiful language to listen to. I'm sure you and your parents will do well with it as we KNOW that is what God wants you all to be doing! Hang in there Autumn! Love your post! thanks! allen

Not how I pictured Africa. Snowflake's adorable! Praying for you. By the end of next week I'm sure you'll be sick of rain! :-)
